Supervisory Training
The enclosed courses within this section address some examples of core areas for supervision. The following outlines are not exhaustive but do represent an idea of courses which can be arranged and delivered.
Being a first line supervisor is a challenging role, requiring very good people management skills. Supervisors have to manage people but still work as part of the team. Supervisors need to understand the principles of management, T&C, performance management and team development. The FSA’s guidance in this area suggests that appropriate competencies for supervisors include assessment skills; coaching; knowledge of products and processes and a good knowledge of the market. Neil Young Training and Consultancy can provide a “tailored” approach to helping your organization and it’s supervisors.
