I worked with Neil on the development of the Oil & Gas Industry specific Corporate Award Training Programme for the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS). Neil was the CIPS Senior Consultant, Customer Development and he did exactly what it said on the tin.

The initiative was dragging its heels a bit until Neil came on board. His limitless tenacity, energy and attention to detail meant that the initiative regained its focus and the programme was launched in November 2010 with more programmes in the pipeline with commitment from a broad range of companies.

In simple terms, if Neil Young makes you a commitment to do something, then it is Neil Young who delivers. In any development programme, there are times when some of the people involved become tired or disengaged for a number of reasons. Neil's character and drive kept the momentum and it is no understatement when I say that if Neil had not come on board when he did we may well, as of today, still been at the 'thinking about it stage'. I don't think 'give up' has a place in the Neil Young vocabulary

Sales Skills Overview

sales-process.jpg

The enclosed courses within this section address some examples of core areas for sales skills. The following outlines are not exhaustive but do represent an idea of courses which can be arranged and delivered.

The most effective sales people don't really seem as though they are selling. They are natural, passionate, enthusiastic and likeable. They provide a clear, concise, consultative approach and find out about you by asking intelligent questions.

You remember most of what you hear because they offer clarity and guidance and make it easy for you to buy, agree to solutions and take further action.

Neil Young Training and Consultancy offer training that focuses on core, natural sales covering areas like being a better communicator, questioning skills, active listening and clear messaging that develops the true sales potential inside all of us.

There is no such thing as the "ideal" salesperson. I truly believe all sorts of people develop their potential to sell - whether they are young or old, introverted, extroverted, analytical, friendly or just inexperienced. Neil Young Training and Consultancy can demystify sales for people who have never sold before.

Training plays a vital role in the development of sales people and sales teams. We understand the need to train sales people to maximise their potential and help their organisation achieve its goals. What’s stopping your sales people achieving their full potential?
